We are currently seeking interns for our Hertz Development Program in our HR Center of Excellence (CoE). This role is the first point of entry into our rotational leadership development program. As an Intern in Human Resources you will have exposure to employees and support key projects our Corporate or Field Operations teams. Successful completion of the internship, depending on performance, creates potential for a full-time role following graduation , into our Hertz Development Program .

HR Interns are responsible for supporting a specific CoE as well as developing a better understanding of their own Human Resources knowledge base. An Intern is expected to observe, learn and take on tasks that will assist the HR team in becoming more efficient and effective in their roles. Our interns are expected to be contributors to innovation and business growth on the teams they join. Our interns are expected to uphold the utmost professionalism in representing Hertz and Human Resources.

Interns will be assigned project work that will help streamline efficiencies in one or more of the following CoE’s*:

  • Total Rewards

  • Talent Acquisition

  • Learning & Development

  • Labor & Employee Relations

  • Data Analytics

  • Business Partnership (Corporate, Airport, Neighborhood, Car Sales or Transportation Network locations)

Preferred Requirements

Required qualifications :

  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters level degree in Business, Human Resources, Organization Psychology or Leadership

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of applications; including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Able to work 32-40 hours per week throughout the internship period
