The Hertz Corporation Remarketing Licensing Analyst in Estero, Florida
The Remarketing Licensing Analyst conducts all aspects of dealership licensing for both The Hertz Corporation and Hertz Car Sales LLC entities. This position will have several key focuses: 1) Ensure we keep existing dealership licenses renewed and compliant. 2) Assist in licensing new dealerships. The analyst must follow the methodology and processes currently established and implemented unless otherwise changed by state, city or county mandates. There is a deep list of tasks that require tactical execution and planning
Understand the DMV licensing methodology for each location at state, city and county levels (currently operating in 36 different states)
Maintain and renew all current dealer, warranty, finance and business licenses and all supporting documents that are renewed on a yearly basis. These supporting documents include; reseller and tax certificates, Surety bonds, dealer plate registration, officer information, fictitious names, Good Standing certificates, fire and alarm permits, service agreements, insurance coverage, notary licenses, background checks, required training, ownership changes, agent contracts, and dealer group memberships.
Obtain, track and renew all retail/wholesale salesperson licenses for those states where required. (300+ sales licenses)
Collaborate with the Real Estate department to obtain zoning approval through CUP (conditional use permits), SUP (special use permits), and Building and Planning filings.
Help to resolve issues that could affect our license compliance and status such as tax errors, legal fines, late title and registrations, operations without proper documentation, missing filings by dealership, unlicensed sales people, missing dealer plates etc.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
Reporting and analytic experience
Proven track record of researching and analyzing complex issues
Previous experience in managing multiple projects
Any previous experience in government licensing work
The ideal candidate should be results oriented, have excellent communication skills and be a self-starter.
Must be process driven and capable of organizing large quantities of documentation
Ability to manage any variety of tasks. This is more than multi-tasking.
Ability to create and nurture relationships with Government personnel while keeping a results oriented atmosphere.
- Ability to identify and solve complex problems relating to any number of issues that could arise across the many dealerships that we have.
