The role: Taking the wheel at Hertz

We are currently looking for a Senior Car Sales Senior to develop and manage Hertz Italiana S.r.l. used car sales activity in the North-East of Italy and export customer base, reporting to the Country Car Sales Manager.

  • Develop customer base in the North-East area through specific targeting of B2B buyers and conversion of existing inactive contacts.

  • Maximize diversity of B2B channels (traditional/on-line) through franchise dealers, supermarkets, independent traders and alternative buyers of ex fleet vehicles.

  • Control stock level, rotation and pricing profile in line with agreed strategy.

  • Develop export customer base, with focus on Central and Eastern Europe countries, managing outbound and inbound contacts and new customers approval flow

  • Build and reinforce relationship with new and existing export customers, being the in-country key support on cars de-fleeting, stock distribution, logistic, pre and post sales administration.

  • Liaise with Fleet Distribution, Fleet Planning and Car Control on deletion of used vehicles and car sales stock management.

  • Develop relationships within Hertz Italy and counterparts in other countries to share best practices, and deliver on strategic vision.

Your skills: What you’ll need for a great journey

  • Understanding the used car market, including on-line vehicle re-marketing

  • Proven sales experience in the automotive industry, focus on B2B sales

  • Project management

  • Written and oral communications

  • Data analysis, reporting and interpretation

  • Fluent in English, German would be a plus

  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite, focus on MS Excel and Power-Point

Other Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in fast-paced, dynamic and expanding company

  • Prior, consistent experience in the re-marketing arena

  • Proven ability to develop and continuously improve processes.

  • Full commitment in order to work and deliver results in a challenging, target oriented environment

  • Proven ability to create strong relations and empathy with customers, in-country and international colleagues, external partners
